About Pig Ears Company Australia
One product, done properly. Whole pig ears for dogs, hand sorted and thick cut, delivered across Australia.
What we do
Most pet shops sell a wall of chews and know very little about any of them. Pig Ears Company Australia sells whole pig ears, in three pack sizes, plus one soft toy. That is the whole shop.
Being that narrow is the point. It means we can tell you the average weight of an ear, what was done to it before it reached the bag, and exactly what it was tested for.
What is in the bag
Whole ears rather than off-cuts, hand sorted so the small thin ones are left out, averaging around 39 grams. One ingredient: no rawhide, no bone, no added salt, and nothing sprayed on afterwards.
Every run is irradiated. After that a random sample from the lots goes to a third-party laboratory and is tested for salmonella, coliform, yeast and mould. That last step is the one almost nobody publishes, and it is the one worth asking any supplier about.
What we will not tell you
We will not tell you a treat cleans your dog's teeth, or fixes an allergy, or does anything to their coat. Those are claims for a vet to make about a specific dog, not for a shop to make about a bag of dried ears. What we will tell you is exactly what is in it, and let you decide.
How we work
Prices are in Australian dollars and include everything you pay at checkout. Delivery is free across Australia on orders of $75 or more, and a flat $27.50 below that. There is one service rather than a choice of speeds.
Orders are picked and packed in 24 to 48 hours and tracked to your door in 5 to 7 days. If anything arrives wrong, we fix it at no cost to you.
Not sure which pack size suits? Email us at theteam@customersupport.care before you buy and a real person will answer.
The guarantee
You and your dog will love our treats or we will take them back, no questions asked. Sealed food that has been opened cannot go back, for hygiene reasons; everything else can.

Frequently asked questions
What does Pig Ears Company Australia sell?
Whole pig ears for dogs, in packs of 10 and 40, plus one squeaky plush dog toy. That is the whole shop, and being that narrow is the point.
What is actually in a pig ear?
Pig ear. That is the entire ingredients list. Nothing is added, nothing is sprayed on afterwards, and there is no rawhide and no bone.
How big are they?
Large. Whole ears rather than off-cuts, hand sorted so the thin ones are left out, and thick cut. The average is around 39 grams an ear, at roughly 70 kcal.
What testing do they go through?
Every run is irradiated. After that a random sample from the lots goes to a third-party laboratory and is tested for salmonella, coliform, yeast and mould. That last step is the one almost nobody publishes.
Do you make health claims for them?
No. We will not tell you a treat cleans your dog's teeth, or fixes an allergy, or does anything to their coat. Those are questions for a vet about a specific dog. We tell you what is in the bag and what was done to it.
What does delivery cost?
Free across Australia on orders of AUD 75 or more. Below that it is a flat AUD 27.50 including GST, shown in your basket before you pay. Above the threshold you can still choose to pay the same AUD 27.50 for express. There is one service rather than a choice of speeds.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are picked and packed within 24 to 48 hours, then delivered in 5 to 7 days. Allow about a week in total.
Can I return something if I change my mind?
There is no general cooling-off right for an online purchase in Australia, and this shop allows 15 days anyway, with no cancellation fee and no handling fee. Your consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law are separate and cannot be excluded. Treats are sealed for hygiene, so an opened bag cannot come back and an unopened one can.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
We put it right at no cost to you, with a replacement or a refund, and we pay the return postage.
How do I pay?
Credit and debit cards through Stripe, or PayPal. Both go through a secure checkout and your card details never reach this site.
Is there a shop I can visit?
No. We are an online only shop with no showroom, which is part of why the price stays where it is.
Who am I actually buying from?
The trading name, legal entity, company registration number and registered address are all in the company details on this page. Email us any time and a real person replies.
