He’s a 65lb dog and not a super aggressive chewer.. The natural shape adds some extra enrichment/chewing time, it’s harder for them to hold then a bully stick so my dog has to problem solve and work a little harder to enjoy it (which is exactly that I needed).

Since I started fostering two feral dogs about 10 months ago, I’ve been looking for something that they won’t just gobble up as fast as I give it to them. They are completely food driven, which makes sense since they were out in a rural area with another pack of dogs, and small in size as well.
These pig ears force them to eat slower, plus I separate them so they don’t feel the need to eat as fast as possible. The older dog takes his time now. The younger dog, barely an adult now, still eats his food very fast, but this lasts a lot longer with him.

These are legit pig ears and you can see veins in them….my puppy loves them. At 12 weeks one ear would last a few days. Now at 16 weeks she can go through one a day.

I have a giant breed puppy who goes through chew items faster than he should. These pig ears last longer than anything else I have tried, they do not smell bad, and they do not make a mess. Most importantly, he seems to really enjoy them. Definitely recommend for hard chewers.
